I too miss gorging out on Peanut Butter Sandwiches, so I found a minimal alternative to fix the PB crave.

1/2 tbsp of Natural PB into a bowl of hot oats!

The calories clock in just over 45, and if you're on a carb cycle diet (like I am), the fat content in the natural peanut butter works well towards your daily macro goals.

honestly... nobody really needs to get ride of peanut butter, its plant fat which is good for you, you want to stay away from animal fat as much as possible, (but in some cases you want it) I say just go all natural peanut butter, and have ur pb n j before your workout as a pre-workout meal, spike your insulin levels and take a pre-workout shake if thats what you do

I agree, and smuckers natural is my favorite. I want to try the honey version, but smuckers natural is good straight from the jar

you guys all have your oppinions, i respect that, but there are also people that say animal fats are natural and good for you. So it boils down to person preference.

I honestly would choose lean meats with lean amount of fat over peanut butter .

boyahhh, it really is all about preference, and if you really think about it.... what did the spartans and romans of the early ages eat.....um lets see...meat.. um.. meant .. and oh hey...MEAT!!!, and look how they survived, so yes animal fat is needed just in your own personal requirements/preferences

Ok i love peanut butter n jelly sandwiches, but i gotta stop eating all these crazy amounts of peanut butter, so i found some suprisingly good substitutes.

1 would be fat free or low fat creme cheese. Sounds raunchy, but its great. Toast up some bread, spread the creme cheese on and put some jelly on it.

Substitute 2 is cottage cheese, i know this sounds.. disgusting, especialy with jelly, but u gotta try it to judge it.

P.s, make sure you TOAST the bread! or it can get kinda soggy n nasty.

If you guys have any other things u like to put on bread post it here.

Those all sound real good actually and ive had them all. ButI eat about a jar of peanut butter a week so I never ever get tired of it. I guess you could say peanut butter is a weakness of mine.
