My healthy, natural, protein shake.
Banana – 1 or 2 depending on taste and consistency preference
Grounded flax seeds – 1 to 2 spoons
Pumpkin seeds – 1 to 2 spoons
Natural peanut butter – 1 spoon
Natural almond butter – 1 spoon
Natural Cacao powder – 1 to 2 spoons
Honey – 1 spoon (most people will probably prefer to use Stevia instead)
Marmite - 1/5 to 1/2 table spoon
Added liquid – I use water but certainly skimmed milk is an option. In fact I even tried to add a spoon of cottage cheese once

it works fine it’s just that I’m allergic to dairy.
Consistency – I like it somewhere between thick and dense to liquidy. If you put it in the fridge for a few hours it’ll get firm and you can eat it with a spoon like yogurt. It also makes a really nice Popsicle! I tried to put some of it in one of these kids kits to make popsicles and it was quite brilliant

I could have written it as a fixed recipe but I think that it would be a mistake. Some people will prefer less cacao powder or more water etc. so I’m leaving it for you to decide.
You could definitely switch the cacao powder with chocolate flavor protein powder but the point of this shake is that it extremely healthy and has lots of protein without the use of protein powder.
I’m hoping to get your feedback, I’ve been drinking his every day for two weeks and I absolutely love it! it took me two days to find my personal preference. I used to put too much cacao for my taste and too much peanut butter (which is why I also add almond butter) and of course finding the right thickness is also important.
Anyways, I love it
BTW, if you use the same recipe only use 4-6 bananas it makes a pretty decent ice-cream as well
