This is a great tasting and HEALTHY dessert.  It also has a lot of protein.  I made it because I was craving cherry pie.

Heres what you need.

The Crust
I used Polished's pie crust, which i guess is pretty much the default on this forum Wink
I grinded up 2 cups Kashi Go lean (320 Calories, 26 g protein)
2 scoops whey (240 Calories, 54 g protein)
3/4 cup apple sauce - 75 calories

Spray pam in a pie pan, in a separate bowl, mix the crust ingredients.  You will need to make sure your hands are wet so the crust doesnt stick to you!

Put it in the oven for about 15 minutes or until its golden crispy.

The Filling
You have two options.  If you have a walmart or some store similar that offers a no sugar added pie filling, you can go with that.
Otherwise, make your own, its healthier and you know exactly whats in it.
How to make your own?
Heres what you'll need.
1 TBSB Cornstarch
2 cups frozen or fresh blueberries
3/4 cup sweetner

Directions:  Bring the blueberries to a roiling boil.  Once they are boiling, allow to simmer.  When simmering add in the cornstarch and make sure you are stirring a lot.   After it has simmered for about 5-10 minutes set aside to cool and add in your sweetner.

Put that shit in the pie crust and back in the fridge.

It will taste AMAZING
I made cherry pie (filling from can) and blueberry pie (homemade)

Macros came out similar.
Itll be around 200 calories for the filling and 720 calories for the pie crust.  You dont have to use all the pie crust.  I actually had some left over enough to make TWO pies.

but if you do decide to use the whole pie crust macros will come out to.

~ 920 calories, 70 g protein.  Not bad.
