It seems to me that the carbs/protein ratio is scewed a bit much towards carbs. So it will help you put on fat, but not give all that much proteins.

@ susar
Remember good quality whey is just filtered milk. I. Do agree that a teenage body needs. A slew of nutrients that are better found in whole foods and a teenage nutrition plan should be based on whole foods. However a meal replacement shake like listed here is quite good and makes for easy quick meals that are based on whole foods.

Why? It's a great source of protein IMHO. Just look for one that isn't full of garbage

Scooby says, "You hear lots of people talking up some hot new supplement, don’t believe it. As a teen, you need good basic nutrition – not supplements. Not even creatine! Some of the supplements can even stunt your growth so please just stay away from them."

Whey and creatine will not stunt your growth. I'm short because my parents are short.

susar, not everything scooby says is the truth, most things he talks about are from his experience, or belief. that's why he always say do your own research!

Looks good. A lot better than commercial gainers.
I treat whey just as an easy source of protein. There's nothing magical about it. And it doesn't have any bad things about it.
I don't care about other supplements.
Good nutrition + good work outs. Way to go.
I think Scooby thinks the same from what I read.
