I've been eating this since I was a child. Now that I recently learned how to make pozole (with my family's recipe). A great source of fiber from the hominy and cabbage and good source of protein from the chicken or pork (I prefer chicken). Out of respect of my mother, I can not tell the recipe of how to make the broth how I make it, but it's rather easy to make with normal broth, chilli peppers, onions, cilantro, different spices, and of course the hominy! Add a little lime to your bowl to give it a tingly taste. You can get the hominy already canned with the broth in certain stores. I found one on amazon to give you guys a hint what it looks like. It's a great exotic meal all in under 200 calories per serving! =]
