These are a delicious and convenient way to get a great combo of healthy fats/carbs/ protein.

What you'll need,

    2 cups burghul (uncooked weight) 1000 calories 34 g protein
    500g (any lean beef, preferably 90/10 or higher) 800 calories, 90 g protein
    1 medium onion finely chopped 50 calories
    1 tsp mixed spices
    1 tsp mixed herbs
    1 tsp cumin powder
    A pinch of chilli
    1/2 glass water
olive oil (to fry): ill say it gives about 150 per patty, (correct me if im wrong)

What you do,
Place burghul in bowl, cover with cold water and stand for 15 mins. Drain burghul and squeeze in hands to soften. Place the meat in food processor and mince to fine paste. Add the remainder of the ingredients (adding water a little at a time) to the blender and mix. Remove and keep aside.

Now, get out a frying daddy or a skillet with olive oil (you CAN use Pam to do this in a skillet, but the texture/flavor is affected), if you are doing low fat than try pamming the skillet instead. 

Fry or sautee (preferably fry) until each side is golden.

Enjoy!

Macros (without the frying oil): 1850 calories, 125 g protein
these will EASILY make 10-20 patties and they are awesome for on the go meals.  tell me what you think!
