a simple and healthy taco recipe:

300g of Quorn "minced meat"
taco spices, mixed into water.

just prepare a frying pan with whater you normally use when you want to fry something.
add the Quorn to the pan, when it has fried for a few minutes, add the spices, let it boil-fry for an additional 10 mins(time may vary)

now, since the quorn "mince-meat" i have here in Sweden has only 2% fat, 4,5% carbs and 14,5%% protein while at 90KCAL you can serve it with pretty much what ever you like, like in a wrapping, with some cheese for added proteins/fats? or with vegetable to keep kcal count down?

don't forget some sort of salsa.

i hope you enjoyed my first post here! Cool
and plz note that English isn't my main language Evil

Good first post flancen.

This is really simple to make and tastes really good too.

I tried this meal and added chopped onion and canned chopped tomatoes to the quorn mince before I cooked it.

The mixture goes well in a wrap like you suggest and also in a taco with added grated low fat cheese.

Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Nice one!

Quorn is great, we use the mince and fillets a lot in pasta dishes, pies, etc.  It's got a nice texture and the whole family like it.  Smiley
