Good evening  Smiley

finally as I have promised you guys I present to you - the pizza guide! Cool

First of all - what do I need for a delicious and healthy pizza?

Check out your local super market for the following ingredients:

  • A so called 'pizza kit' consisting of pizza dough and tomato paste - should be available in many countries (basically you can do it yourself of course, too)
  • Some crumbled cheese for gratinating - like Edam, Mozzarella or something similar - whatever you like Smiley
  • Pizzatopping: Buy and use whatever you like to eat - in my case that's broccoli as well as tuna
  • Oven: Of course you require an oven to bake the pizza Wink

Protein content:
  • 300 g of broccoli              - 10 g of protein
  • 150 g of pizza cheese       - 38 g of protein
  • 200 g of tuna                  - 50 g of protein
  • 600 g of pizza kit             - 42 g of protein

In total: 1250 g - 140 g of protein

Secondly - what to do now?

  • Be smart and heat up the oven while preparing the pizza

  • Then shape the pizza pastry in your hands either in the air or on the baking plate, or both  Cheesy
  • Place the tomato sauce on the dough

  • Now take care of the pizza topping and place all the ingredients you like on the pizza

  • Then put the cheese on the pizza - but remember to spread the cheese everywhere
  • Afterwards put it in the oven for 15-20 minutes (depending on your oven)

Thirdly - now what?

  • Take the baked pizza out of the oven and take a look at it Smiley

Most importantly - enjoy your awesome pizza!

Have fun creating and eating your self-made pizzas Cool

You could cut the pizza in half (broccoli and tuna)
and then put one side on top of the other

and it would be like an epic pizza sandwich!

    Hey man
What do you do with the broccoli? Put it on raw?
Or do you cook it abit before hand?

Well, it's frozen - I heated it up for 2-3 minutes in the microwave. Of course you can just unfreeze it in some hours, too Wink

    Nice post.

    A few things to add:

Rolling the dough will make it flat. It's better to shape it in your hands in the air after initially forming it on a layer of flour. Obviously, tossing it into the air could result in a problem if you're unskilled or suffering from DOMS. It's good to wind your way around the edge of the dough hand to hand. It doesn't need to be perfectly round.

For a tastier and healthier pizza, I suggest that at least half of the dough be comprised of whole wheat flour.

Try using slices of tomato instead of a store-bought sauce. Or make your own -- time consuming but easy.

True. Yeah, the package even says not to roll it - should've written that in the first place (*correcting*) Lips Sealed

I'm always "preparing" the dough in the air, to make it a perfect match.

    Thanks for adding that!
