I LOVE oatmeal and have lots of ways I love it.
1) pour nonfat milk over cold, dry oats (just like it was cereal). Add i scoop chocolate whey. Yum!
2) cook with water normally, let cool. Add 1 scoop chocolate whey. Yum!
3) cook with water normally, let cool. Add 1 spoon jam. Add 1 scoop vanilla whey. Yum!

1) pour nonfat milk over cold, dry oats (just like it was cereal). Just a heads up, if anyone has had issues with obstipation from this(and quite a few have apparently) leave the oats in the milk for 20 min before eating. I really hate oatmeal, but eat it anyway. What I do is mix it with a) fresh lemon, fruitmeat and all, then add banana. b) i run an apple through the blender and mix this in with the oatmeal. I was adventurous the other day, tried to mix tuna with oatmeal, to see if it was possible to create a mix of those that could work.It didn´t, it was horrible. I now know what hell tastes like

I like to add applesauce and raisins, or a banana. This time of year, a bit of roasted pumpkin leftovers plus the spices 877EKM mentioned is delicious (especially with warm cider).

Hear is a neat trick. Prepare it with the milk or water as per instructions. Now I have zero time in the morning to wait for it to cool and I cannot use the blender as it wakes up my wife and 5am for her is just not good. . Anyway the trick is drop a 1/2 cup of forzen berries like blueberrie and a little yogourt. Mix it up an consume. The oatmeal is cooled by the berries... MMMMMMM!!!!

muesli anyone? add some raisins dry fruits and nuts to it. Grind an apple over it and ad some skim milk, voila. I tried in vanilla protein today, but it wasn't that good. By the way, can i heat up protein powder lightly in the microwave?

Yup, I beat you to it Yes I heat mine on the stove top all the time, sometimes on the container they encourage you to use it for baking, shakes, mixes etc. Fresh Muesli

Why six or more meals a day? It's not that three or four meals a day are bad. It's just that five meals are better than four, and six are better than five. The evidence is mounting that many small meals are more effective at adding muscle and cutting fat than fewer big meals. Consuming six or more meals per day makes it easier for your body to efficiently digest the food, and this enables you to down more protein as well as exert tighter control over nutrient quality and quantity.
Eating or drinking something approximately every three hours keeps you topped off with nutrients. It also keeps your stomach small and tight; limits fat deposition; promotes "cleaner" eating; enables you to eat more fiber, fruits and veggies, as well as protein; and even promotes greater water consumption.

what evidence? give me hard proven facts, scientific observation and results, why are they better? why? why why? back up your statements please, im not trying to be a jerk, But I will seriously give you 1000000dollars if you find me proof that meal frequency plays a role in cutting fat or building muscle lol But unfortunately there are no facts supporting that with scientific research, all the facts and research lead to THE FACT that meal frequency plays no role in increased thermogenic effects or rate of metabolism.

Remember to space your meals 2-3 hours apart... Sorry could not help myself.... lol why? The thought I had was LTJames trying ALL the variations in one sitting to see which he likes best. So I pictured a table loaded with bowl full of oatmeal in varying forms... Now that would be a lot of fibre...
