There are alot of different versions of this and I found like 4 just searching on google. But I like this one. It meets my calorie, fat, carbs, protein and sodium intake for a breakfast.
Harvest Oatmeal
1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1 pkg (20 oz) Cut Butternut Squash, finely diced (about 2 cups) 4 cups Apple Cider Salt to taste 4 Tbsp Sweetened Dried Cranberries 2 cups Old Fashioned Oats link Add All Ingredients to List
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
1. Spread walnuts in shallow baking pan; bake 5 min, stirring once. Remove from oven; set aside. 2. Add squash and cider to saucepan; bring to boil on MEDIUM. Reduce to simmer; simmer 8-10 min until squash is tender. Season to taste with salt. Add dried cranberries; simmer about 3 min until plump. Stir in oats; cook and stir about 1 min. Let stand 1-2 min before serving. 3. Spoon into warmed bowls; sprinkle with walnuts. 555 Calories 17.25g Fat 85g Carbs 13.5g Protein 210mg Sodium

It becomes bitter the second day. Beware, it is still tasty but not as good as the first day.

so u make oats. cut up a banana in it, a few strawberries, a few walnuts, a few pecans, and a few almonds. . . . you're done! healthy, loaded with fiber, and low on calories. if wanted, coconut milk and/or raw honey could be added.

I also like to put in a 1/3rd cup of egg whites. Makes it creamier, and adds some protein. Also, toasted flax seeds give it a really nice flavor.

It's a shame I really cannot stand egg whites despise my flavorless attitude. I am not a very picky eater, of course I do love flavor though... But darn it, egg whites are some of the highest quality protein you can get, because it has such few cals but egg whites really just make me want to barf.

I just had some oatmeal mixed with alpen (a cereal made of seeds, oats and dried fruit) and milk. cooked the oatmeal, alpen and cinnamen mix dry for 1 min in the microwave, mixed it around and added the milk and microwaved it for another 2.30 mins and added slightly more cinnamen. And wow! the cinnaman adds alot to it, Taste's great thanks for the tip
