Ok this chicken is so awesome even the "non dieters" in my house eat it. The other good thing about it, it has only 5 simple ingredients: Chicken (Mines usually 8oz or as much as you want) Plain yogurt (100g) Salt (1/4 tsp) Tandoori masala powder (1 tbsp) Chili powder (1/2 tsp) Simple really, Mix the yogurt, salt, masala and chili powder together in one bowl or glass then basically just mix it in with the chicken in a pan to slow cook it. Oh yeah also add an additional half glass of water to it and mix in the pan well and put it on LOW heat, mixing occasionaly. Its cooked when all the water has dried up, or if you want a bit of gravy just leave a bit water. Simples Trust me, if you make this right, you will never eat any other sort of chicken again in your life Another thing, if you want it a bit more crispy just toss it under the grill for 5 mins after its been cooked. Final touches squeeze lemon on top if you like Let me know how it goes My post workout meal everday

With greek yogurt (assuming the thicker consistency works) this could be an even more awesome pile of protein.

Sounds great, I'm a fan of it at the restaurant so I wanna try this! Question: I get my chicken breasts from Costo, they're small and frozen, I'm curious if yours are the same or are you only using fresh, unfrozen breasts? I'd love to toss some frozen ones in a dish with the sauce and then toss in the oven to cook, just not sure it comes out the same. Thanks for any input!

Hey man, would frozen breasts even cook? Never heard of that one im afraid. But i use fresh unfrozen meat to cook. Do you mean frozen and defrosted or just frozen? Cheers.

I meant totally frozen-when i cook them, I take them out of the bag and toss into a pot, cover with just enough water, bring that water to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes, then turn teh heat off and let it sit for another 10 minutes or so. Makes for very juicy, tender meat. Then I transfer it to a container for the fridge and have a couple meals, as I put in a couple pounds to start.
In this case I was hoping to place the breasts into a pyrex container with the sauce and then let it cook. I could also toss the breasts in the microwave to defrost I guess, takes 2-3 minutes for a pound to get back to non-frozen but uncooked.

Best to try it and see what happens

Hey Sufy, thanks for the recipe! When you cook it do you fry it with all those ingrediants or can you bake it? Also, how much chicken does this recipe make? I like to do 4-5 6oz breasts at once. Ok this chicken is so awesome even the "non dieters" in my house eat it. The best part is there is no oil required. Im not sure if you can bake it like that but maybe slow cook till the water dries up then bake it. The macros and calories are different for everyone as they use different brands of yogurts etc. But for the ingredients ( excluding chicken) are only 100 calories Cooking with 4-5 oz of chicken will be fine
