3 weeks ago my mom brought home a bottle of amino liquid instead of whey protien since the manager told her that teenagers shouldn't take whey protien, anyway
I've been taking it for 3 weeks now and I have to dilute 2 tablespoons 3 times a day and it is the worst thing i have ever tasted in my life I want to stop taking it, if i stop will it effect my muscle gains? do we not already get the essential amino acids from regular food?

totally depends on your diet. If you have a kickass diet no suppliment on the market is nescesary. Many foods contain all the essential amino acids, but many dont. Do a bit of research on the foods which you eat a lot and count towards your protein needs, for example wheat protein does not contain all essential amino acids so although a slice of bread has protein its not so great, where as milk contains all essential amino acids, so if you drink lots of milk then you are better off.

Just look at your diet, if what you eat gives you the right amount of protein then any suppliment is a waste of time, if your diet lacks a bit then you need to find a way around it, whether that be from the gross tasting drink or from somewhere else.

Of course teens "shouldn't" consume whey...
Because...Liquid Amino is much more expensive in-comparison...!

None of my business but I want to ask why the heck will your mom forbid you to buy whey powder and allow you to consume some type of liquid amino acid formula? Whey is mainly derived from milk last time I checked. Milk has the 9 EAAs but what about the BCAAs and the non essential amino acids?
