CLA is garbage, don't bother with it. Carnitine is great, though. Don't expect to lose much body fat while on it, that's just a marketing gimmick. Carnitine will, however, significantly aid your performance.

but i thought both carnitine and CLA are garbage
they say it releases fat to be used as energy - is that a gimmick ?
i never tried it but i understand it is your diet and training which is 99% these supplements like carnitine would help you 1% IMO
if you have a clean diet 6 meals a day , good training programme you will lose weight in few months
i would say stay away from carnitine or CLA as they are expensive , instead spend those money in buying clean foods

CLA is garbage, Carnitine is not. Yes, carnitine does help shuttle fatty acids into the mitochondria, but that won't result in significant fat loss.

carnotine is very very important as just stated it is a shuttle which transports fatty acids from the cell membrane to the mitochondria. However taking it as a suppliment is just a waste of money, it will not make it into your cells. it will be digested and used for whatever the cells which take it up need it for.
