Only supplement I would suggest is whey protein. I don't use any supplements not even the whey protein, although it is convenient.

Whey may not be helping you because

1. you may not be training as hard as you should
2. You are not consuming enough calories
3. your macronutrient ratios maybe off whack

Remember, whey is not a wonder-substance. it is just a substitue and an easier way to get your protein. Just chugging a bunch of whey and sitting your ass on the couch all day aint gonna get your muscles growing. Not saying thats what you are doing, but making a point.

Creatine is supposed to help you do more work in the gym. do you feel you are maxing out on your effort? if no, you dont need creatine yet

Creatine is garbage. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from it. It gives you a bloated, lethargic feeling and is nothing compared to a quality whey powder. if gains are your problem, the first thing you should look at is your diet: enough whole quality calories? Protein grams? Complex carbs? All essential for gains.

creatine mono hydrate is a very good supplement

it is a supplement which actually works , compared to supplements like arginine , beta alanine , glutamine etc

if you are stuck in a plateau creatine helps to break that plateau by improving your strength ATP enhancer so that you can push more weights for more reps

bloating is a minor issue and it does not cause bloating all the time , i experienced bloating once

bloating is possible if you take more than 5g at a time , too much creatine may cause bloating , 5 g a day post workout would do fine

read CREATINE FAQs for complete info

creatine mono is cheap and effective supplement

I would optimize my nutrition first before taking anything like this!! Stick to the "natural" way
and when you get to a plateau where you really are stuck (even with switching rep/intensity volume) then I would start thinking about those kind of supplements!

Why is creatine that bad, won't it allow masking of pain whilst lifting?

Stick to the "natural" way

You must think red meat isn't "natural" then.
