You need confidence when you introduce yourself to somebody at a bar, or performing at a rock concert.

All you need is knowledge, a bit of harm avoidance, and pure determination at the gym.

It's a good start.

From reading the Ingredients, i can see jack3d works its magic via it's stimulant effect.

How does it feel different from just plain caffeine?

It does not.  However, since it did well for you, and it will probably keep on doing so, use that feeling which brings about confidence. Smiley  Congratulations.

I don't know about confidence, though for sure they can help you have a really strong workout. I hit PRs on bench press and had an extraordinary workout this one time my buddy spotted me some NO X-plode 2.0.

I'm strongly against taking preworkouts on a regular basis, though, as I don't want my CNS to burn out and my body to adapt to them. Once a month, they can be a good way to have a lot of power at the gym, but I wouldn't take them any more often than that.

Don't be like that, you asked for our opinion.  It would be different for everyone. ^^

Ah, the joys of caffeine.  I've never taken a pre-workout supp, only coffee/caffeine, but I can attest to the fact that if I have to work out without having time to make a pot of coffee beforehand, I feel a little apprehensive about pushing my max weights.

It gives an edge, however slight in terms of physical advantage, but psychologically it can do wonders.
