I have tried some random pre-workout supplements and I seriously prefer having a good meal 30-45min before working out. If I still feel I don't have enough energy to workout or if I haven't had time to eat before that, I'll just down a can of deliciously malicious coca cola.

Nothing. Tried pre workouts as well but they didn't do it for me. Used to drink a cup of coffee before but since for health reasons I needed to decrease my caffeine consumption I do without and I really don't miss it. Like Furious said, meals are so simple yet so awesome. Eating well throughout the day and making sure to have a good snack shortly before workout does the trick, it really does. If I'm still a little hungry I'll eat a piece of fruit or a chocolate bar.

Not trying to make pre workout supps bad, for some they work, for some they don't. But I do think more people should focus on good meals first and I mean, do focus on getting in good energizing meals.

Kind of easy for me. Since I work out in the morning I have breakfast. A cup of oats with blue berrys and a spoon of Ground Flax Seed. For a drink a mix up a Vitamin C drink. We get Vitamin C in a little packet that ya mix with water. I think it makes a nice morning drink and coffee.

Normally nothing. If I'd take anything, it'd be coffee, black ofcourse.

Personally, I just eat a protein & carb rich bar or something along those lines before a workout. I don't want my body to become used to taking some supplement to get going, just in case when I don't have it, I will be still able to perform. I would not advise taking anything like C4. My bro takes that stuff and I guess it works for him, but he can't do anything without it. It's like drug addiction. If you need some extra motivation, go with something natural and simple before a workout. Stay clean Wink

Usually a good meal hour before workout, ofcourse I also take high protein/high carbohydrate recovery drink during workout, sometimes when really ultra tired I drink one after workout aswell. (well mostly allways)

The crash from preworkouts is so strong. I feel dizzy, nauseated, fatigued, sleepy, not alerted only a few hours post workout.

i have used few pre workouts but i would recommend few of them with caffeine and dmaa

C4 is knock off of jack3d , i prefer jack3d as it is inexpensive and effective , all other pre workouts are waste of money

the only difference is without a pre workout i would take longer to warm up and keep the blood flowing , pre workouts speeds up the warm up process before gym

they do help pushing extra reps but i would consider them only when i get stuck with a plateau

The only bad thing about jacked is that it shows up on drug tests. I like C4 because it works alot like jacked but it does not have the drug that will show up on drug tests (not sure what ingredient shows up).

dmaa is natural it is not a drug , anyway you can also be tested for caffeine  , all are stimulants

C'mon, man! If the thing shows up on a drug test, that's more than enough reasons to avoid it. It's not meant to be in your body, even if it doesn't show up.

I know it's up to the person to do whatever they want with their bodies, hell, crack addiction is no myth, but by buying these supplements, you're fueling the corporations that flood the markets with their bullshit products. The more stuff that's out there, the greater the risk that it's going to be low quality and/or misused by someone.

anyone tried craze by Driven Sports ?

looking at its ingredients it sounds complicated and too much ingredients

jack3d has just 4-5 ingredients but effective
