So recently i asked a question about the proper usage of glutamine, i came up with drinking it before i go to bed, but i didn't like it and i decided to drink it as a pre- workout supplement. So what im doing for the past week is before workouts i drink a cup of coffe and 5 grams of glutamine powder. I thought nothing will change, but when i feel really tired, before workouts i drink coffee and the glutamine and i am full of energy (because of cofein probably, but when i was drinking coffee only i didnt get so great evergy). So the first time i used this mix was before my arm workout, i couldnt believe what i could do, last week i was struggling in doing dips with 15 kg 5x10 ( tried to achieve this for like a month), but then suddenly i was able to do 5x10 with 19kg, i dont know how? All the other exercises seemed to be really easy too and i was able to inrease the weight in every single exercise. I thought it was just 1 time, but i have been drinking this for a week and every single workout is much better than it was last week. Explanation? Just came back from my chest workout - broke all my records in chest exercises!

Glutamine is an amino acid that aids in recovery. I don't think that it would help with energy.

glutamine is really only effective in people who have been hospitalized for extended periods of time, or have serious injuries..otherwise for BB it is a gimmick
