Dude just train harder and eat enoght protein. If your gona take any supplement just take whey coz it works. Besides, why do you want to get big so quick? the longer you take to become stronger, the more you are going to apreciate all your work.

That's a good question... I suppose vanity to be honest!!!

I have worked hard though, used to train at an elite level for sports but then gave it away for years. Now I'm trying to get back into shape but it isn't so easy these days, the pain hurts more and the body takes longer to recover lol!

Scooby has provided a great inspiration for some many of us, can't thank him enough for it. And the honesty is great too, the supplements industry is a scam - mostly.

you should feel good about yourself. Not everyone would start again working out once they left it, especially if they left it for years. What matters is that you are doing it. Also you will get stronger faster becoz of your experience and muscle memory.
IF you want to increase your testosterone levels work out your legs.

dont give up in your training. just imagine how big would you be in 4 years. Smiley

I used to swim competitively as a teenager, weight training hasn't actually been a part of my life until recently although in my competition days we used to do workouts in the gym every so often but ironically that was what destroyed my swimming career... i got stiff from bulking up and lost my technique which was everything to me.

Thanks for the article on doing leg workouts... by the way, I've tried Tribulus from GNC and it did NOTHING for me, twas just a waste of money.

Talking about legs, would anyone recommend doing 2 leg workouts a week to boost testosterone and muscle gain? Just a thought...

The testosterone secreted by leg workouts is transient; won't last long.

Also, tribulus terrestris does nothing for testosterone levels.

Thanks Truth! Its funny how the advertising for these sorts of products make all sorts of claims. The one that gets me is that Bulgarian weightlifters used Tribulus as well as LongJack. Is that true, does any1 know? Also, Truth, your statement about LongJack being able to elevate testosterone slightly, were those studies done on humans? I read somewhere that in worked in mice or rats...

They were done on rats for the most part, but also humans.
