Glutamine
lol.... no.

Nothing is really going to help with DOMS; after training for a few months and you don't get it anymore, you will miss it.   Just think of it as your body telling you that you've done well.

they say  beta alanine helps buffer lactic acid but i think it is bull crap

beta alanine has no effect in my experiance , but creatine is effective , once your muscles get saturated with creatine , buffers lactic acid during workout , helps recover indirectly

and "glutamine aids recovery " is a marketing gimmick , protein aids recovery , one amio acid alone can not boost recovery IMO

I used to get horrible DOMS after workout  esp. Legs and Arms.

What helped me was : HOT shower or sauna  after workout.
Post-Workout shake : just ANY protein you like  ( i take Whey )
And 300 mg of magnesium.

Thats it

    1) warmup properly (2-5 minute briskwalk, 10-20 reps of power snatch with the bar)
    2) cooldown properly (2-5 minute briskwalk after lifting)
    3) Workout should not take more than an hour.
    4) 1st Warmup set should be at most 85 percent of your working weight, raise such to 90 on the next set, and finally 92.5 - this may be done in the form of 5 reps, 3 reps, and 1 final rep. Then working weight - be this 3x5, 3x10, 2 x what not, 5x5. etc.

I don't take supplements; so I have no advise on that.

In the modern family not necessarily.... more importantly, you really want a massage from your dads gf?
