Hey guys,

First post on this forum.

Was curious to see some people's OPINIONS on Pre Supps.

Personally, I have started to buy JACK3D and enjoy the boost of energy I get from it.  Obviously it alone is not going to make me large or give me these huge bogus weight gains but it does boost my energy.  Personal opinions on that product?  Also, I am trying to get away from all supps like that and was wondering what some natural energy boosting alternatives similar to what a Pre does for you would be?  I understand caffiene may be one but am not a fan of that really.  Jittery feelings do not flow well with me.

Thanks

I am personally a big fan of pre workouts. in my opinion they are just as important as post workouts for big gains, again (my opinion) lol. I took jack3d last month and it was a pretty good supplement, but it effects were short, in my body. I would recommend either superpump250 by gaspari nutrition or NaNO vapor by muscle tech Smiley

PreSurge Unleashed, or S.A.N Fierce (to a lesser extent). Those two should be the only two choices if you want both vasodilation and energy.

First off I would like to say that everyone reacts differently to each supplement. Personally, I have taken Jack3d and I thought it was alright, except the taste was a little hard to get used to. I did make some gains while on this supplement, but I prefer BSN No Xplode Fruit Punch. I didn't have that jittery feeling with this supplement.

If you're looking for a natural alternative, I've read that eating oatmeal 15-45 mins before working out can really help boost your energy and it provides the fuel to make your workouts more intense. If you want you could try the oatmeal as pre-workout meal and take Controlled Labs Purple Wraath before/during/after workouts. You can read about it here: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/clabs/purple.html

    Best of luck

Stay away from the arginine-loaded NO boosters. They are overpriced caffeinated koolaide with creatine. If you want one that actually does what it says it does, go with PreSurge Unleashed as Truth pointed out. I've been using it off and an and was impressed.
