So i have heard alot about the suplements. Everyone is taking them recently and i was wondering, are they really good ,i mean they must be good for muscles but do they do any harm to the rest of the body ?

No, they don't -- or at least protein powder does not.
But if they worked so well then how come so many people take them and so few are big, strong or muscular?

My opinion: useless if you take care of your nutrition. An average sized guy can get easily the required protein from a good nutrition without ever needing to touch protein supplements. And getting the proper amount of protein from real food is much healthier anyway.
Protein powder is not some magical complex formula which will grant you muscle gain, it is just protein -_-
