Ok guy so ive heard or protein bars called Pure protein bars which have around 20-30 grams of protein in each bar n i was wondering if it is really healthy or good ?u know like if there could be something unhealthy about it?

    It has a lot of chemicals in it but I eat them all the time and don't think they are that bad. They do give you gas sometimes though.

    When they first came out a independent lab test was done on them.  I don't remember the exact numbers but the label was way off.  It was about as nutritious and contained as much protein as a snickers bar.   I believe they improved their ingredients.

    I recommend limiting these to an occasional treat. It's not that they're unhealthy; rather, it's better to eat real food. In a pinch, they're tasty and convenient.

    Gas, bloating, or diarrhea are probably the result of the sugar alcohol in them.

    In what way? Both have isolates and pureprotien has hydro whey thingy also
