Pure Protein Shakes-- need to refrigerate?
«

Random question: does anybody know if you need to refrigerate the Pure Protein shakes that come in a can? I'd like to keep some in my desk at work but I don't want to if they're going to go bad. The can says "refrigerate after opening" but I only ever seen them sold in coolers so I'm not sure if leaving them out is bad. It also says it contains "milk ingredients."
Thanks!

No but once you open them you cant leave them open overnight or anything like that. They put them in coolers for flavor etc..

I think protein shakes start to denature after 8 hours... And creatine 3 hours... I believe i saw it somewhere..... So it's always best to finish them once you open them

Ya if you for some reason don't finish it be sure to refrigerate it though.

Ok cool, I always finish them once I open them so I'm not worried about that, but it's good to know I can leave them unopened in a desk drawer and still drink them later. Thank you!
