Hey everyone.

I've heard several positive reviews about six star creatine and its effects. I went out today to check out the price and read the labeling and it was only 21$ for like a 2lb tub. I read the back and it said recommended dose for anyone 18 or older then below it said not recommended for anyone under 18. I'm 17 years old and I was wondering if I took smaller doses if it would be fine to take the creatine and are there any negative effects due to me being slightly under age?

Website for six star creatine: http://www.sixstarpronutrition.com/products/creatinex3/index.shtml

PS. An hour later I went to different store and saw smaller tub of creatine (650g) for slightly higher price and on the back it said recommended dose for anyone 13 and older. Should I get this one instead?

Thanks for any replies.

PSS. I have read the creatine FAQ already.

Go buy a pure creatine monohydrate from Allmax or Beast. Consume it post workout when your body is in a high state of demand

im pretty sure the smaller 650 g creatine was pure creatine monohydrate. Thanks for reply, but do you think it should be safe for me being 17.

I personally did not notice any difference in recovery, weight, or performance using creatine. I would save your money and just drink plenty of water. I would recommend just a multi and omega3/6/9 supplements. A well balanced diet and hard training makes you bigger not supplements. Anything that says something like "May boost performance" I would stay away from. Stick to ESSENTIAL nutrients, not nutrients your body already makes on it's own. Vitamins/Minerals and certain fatty acids your body cant make that's why supplementation of these is recommended.

Buy pure creatine monohydrate.  Look for a brand that uses Creapure, its the standard for quality and purity.   It shouldn't be too much more than $20-$25 (plus shipping if bought online). And it's perfectly safe. I've cycled on and off since I was 15 and that was 15 years ago.
