Well maybe if you are really skinny, you can try out using mass gainers, and ofcourse try to eat much more to gain some mass. dont rely on mass gainers

Whey protein+Milk+Olive oil(or peanut butter)+Oats+Mixed frozen fruits = blend
10 times healthier than any mass gainer, amazing source of healthy fats, slow digesting carbs, anti oxidants, vitamins out the ass and lots of protein
I just added all this up for you, check this out;
1 scoop whey protein powder (Optimum nutrition in this case, just any good whey isolate) 1/2 serving extra virgin olive oil 1/3 cup oats 2 cups 2% milk 1/3 cup mixed frozen fruits
=
563 calories 52g carbs - SLOW DIGESTING CARBOHYDRATES ->7g sugar -->4g fibre 45g protein - 20g fat - HEALTHY FATS ->1.5g saturated
Oh the goodies don't stop there..it's chalk full of healthy vitamins and minerals.. and 75% of your daily needs for calcium

No, it's not "unhealthy". It just uses "filler" carbs (dextrose, maltose, etc) for the extra calories. They are stupidly cheap, very processed, and sold to you at ludacris prices. There are better options for extra calories.

Calories that come from Dextrose are considered unhealthy to me..if I were to eat sweet potatoes my entire life over dextrose, I'm sure I'd die eating dextrose, so to me I say it's unhealthy.

....but I would benefit more from the carbs and vitamins and minerals in a sweet potato, than I would in the carb in dextrose which contains zero nutritional value. You would become malnourished. So to me, this makes it an unhealthy food choice, regardless. I rather get fat off eating too many sweet potatoes, then die of malnourishment from eating 100% dextrose

Solid fallacy, broskies. Same could be said for whey powder replacing lean protein sources. But you're pretty in the party where whey is ok though, right?
