I wouldn't take it. not because "bulking only makes you gain fat"(something I disagree with very very much), but because eating trash is so much more enjoyable than drinking something that potentially tastes like who knows what.

It is for very lean ectomorphs who has hard time gaining weight as their metabolic is fast
One of ma friend is very lean ectomorphic he buys BSN true mass , sometimes serious mass twice a month as whey will not work for him
If you are mesomorph or endomorph weight gainers will make you fat , one negative is weight gainers are more expensive than protein powders

its more meant for people that are big enough to be eating around 8000 calories or more a day. pointless if you are only eating in the 3000 calorie range. But still pointless in my opinion because the cost would be better spent on real food.

ectomorphs they need to eat a lot but clean , serious mass has too many calories but they are not simple carbs which is good
a person with busy lifestyle it is not possible to eat lot of food very often, this supplement may help such people

Simple carbs are used during carb loads. They make you appear fuller and bloatier because of the increase glycogen storage. Serious mass is often taken post workout so simple carbs/sugars in this case would make sense because they are needed for a insulin spike primarily for anabolic results and secondly to suppress cortisol levels. Ectomorphs need the bigger look, not the carb depleted look. In terms of calories, ectomorphs definitely need more than enough calories. I myself have eaten 6000kcal everyday ages ago without leaving the single digit body fat zone. Get your facts straight before posting stp.

ON says it is 250 g of carbs with no added sugar , that means no simple carbs right ?

My bad mistaken serious mass as ON's 2:1:1 recovery, they are both colored green! Serious mass does not have fast acting carbs (sugar). My statement still stands though. Simple carbs (sugars) are needed for post workout. One wishing to gain weight would be better off with 2:1:1 recovery.
