Conditioning....

I know many exercises for conditioning and here's what I think is the best. I feel that burpees, sprints, jump ropes, and suicides are the best for conditioning. If anyone has any other conditioning exercises/routines, please list them below. Btw, I really don't like running because it doesn't really work fast twitch muscle fibers and it's really boring....

Not to be rude or anything, but running is extremely good cardio and should be used in your cardio routine somewhere I'd say, just alternate a bit.

That's not rude but I really don't think running is that great. I'm fine with running sometimes but constant running leads to many joint problems and repetitive motion injuries. Also, it does nothing to raise your metabolism once you're done running, so that doesn't help that much.

I've found that hills are great. some treadmills even have a hill interval setting, but its not as good as going out and running natural hills whenever possible. Is there a specific sport your lookin to be conditioned for?

Well I play American football and I feel that running miles and miles really doesn't help when football is almost like interval training. I say this because a play lasts 5 seconds or so, then there is a rest of about 40 secs.

Well, my suggestions would either be HIIT or (as I prefer) Tabata:
Check out this site for all you need to know.
http://tabataworkout.com/
I get bored easily myself, Tabata lets you create your own workout. And trust me, its effective. Painfully so
We talked abit about tabata here:

You can get a heavy bag and throw punshes and kicks but before doing that you should be advised about correct techniques. If not you are likely going to get injured.
