What's your take on crossfit workouts for the center of a exercises regime.

I am a martial artist and have been recommended to do crossfit for a while.

Wondering if I should keep lifting to get to my 230pd goal or start crossfit now

Start the crossfit. I was introduced to it by blackbelts and it has served them very well over the years - especially in terms of martial arts/sparring ability.

Might be being blonde here - what is pd?

CrossFit or cross training is the perfect for martial arts. It will condition your abilities to fight better than any other way of weight lifting etc.

Well I tried it and after only 2 weeks, my strength has improved significantly in grappling and striking, my endurance is endless, and my core strength is unreal.

I advise everyone to give crossfit a go it worked for me!
