Yes. Even standing by itself is impossible to do forever. In the case of biking, running, and swimming. - muscle tear, cramps, loss of consciousness. p.s. why endurance? I see no relation to your question. Hehe

People here on this forum are way too strict. I saw lots of boxers, athlets who run daily about 18km and don't have anything. I personaly run everyday 10km and don't have anything...just the euphoria after I finish. I suggest test it out yourself and see.

We are not too strict. But the folks who think you can add Real Body Building Mass and run 10k - 18k everyday are misguided. The euphoria you feel is very real. Distance running is addicting. In contrast, chronic exercise regimes have been suggested to have a negative impact on mental health. Running in particular has been viewed as resulting in a "negative addiction", in that runners have been reported to use their running to help them cope with daily stresses, just as some people turn to drugs or alcohol (Conboy, 1994; Hailey & Bailey, 1982; Rudy & Estok, 1989; 1990).

Saying that this forum is strict is false, but I think he's referring to my comment when I asked the relationship between endurance and the issue and thought it was strict, which wasn't meant to be. Haha At any rate, I fit well with that reference, I use running to cope with daily stresses. >.< Stresssssssssssssssssssssssss sss

Doesn't even scratch the surface of what true human ability is. I could probably run it in less than 50 minutes and I'm still at the bottom of barrel. You should watch a college cross country meet, the run 8k's like its nothing, some get in below 24 minutes, they run way farther and harder than that at practice too, way harder.

Not everyone can do a jumping pistol squat on a box. But some can. I think, that's how Raiyuden sees the situation.

But running is simple, you just go out there, find a rhythm and cruise for a while.

True. I meant it as a metaphor. To some, it's like pistol squat jump, but to others, it's just another day at the gym. Hence, to you, running 10 k, is easy. But to Rai, it's almost impossible. As to the former, it's so because you can do it, but to him, it's that of the latter, because he can't at the moment.
