Fun fact, a klingon Bathlet is NOT considered a weapon here in Norway...aaaand its legal to carry, as its not considered a weapon.

    So, I cant carry this:

    But I can carry this:

Norwegian laws are strange..I cant own a blowgun, or a slingshot(have both ofc bought before law was introduced Tongue), but hey, want to carry a longbow in public even with a arrow nocked, thats cool, go ahead Roll Eyes

Well, I have a bow(several actually) and know how to use it..But I think lawenforcement consider it to much of a skill requiring weapon to use effectively, so its not classified as a weapon(as an example the french knights at agincourt would seriously disaggree with that Cheesy )My mongolian horsebow sends bodkin arrows almost through a car door, and a arrow will go through all bulletproofvests and most bodyarmor.
I have no intention of hunting people ofc(for now, after the zombie apocalypse that might change)but have to stand up for the sheer power of a bow Wink

No, you cannot carry a katana, its considered a knife(if you just felt a tremble, that are thousands of dead samurai rolling over in their graves)and hence a weapon.

I think its going to be hard classifying that as selfdefense Cheesy

    why?
    look how bout this excuse:

-you shot a man, in the face, from less then 2 meters away, with a bow, whilst the man didn't have any weapons on his person and was minding his own business.
    It was self defense!
    -how so?
Well you see he was so goddamn ugly that he nearly caused me to have a heart attack, so i had to act before i died, shooting him in the face was the only way..
-hmm yes i do see your point, he is much more bearable to look at now, with a mutilated face.
Just wait till i get my hands on them explosive arrows i ordered!
    -WHAT ?
    nothing! Cheesy

also yes the katana is a knife! i mean its not a real sword! its not a heavy blunt piece of iron that you basically pummel someone to death with, using all the strength you can muster, it just makes a nice clean cut through most anything! what a sissy weapon!
i wonder if i'll get murdered for that... ohh look! a ninj....
