But you'll get fit by doing it at most 3 x a week. You build muscles not by lifting every day, but when you're resting and recovering. And nutrition plays a key factor.

Greetings, May you explain what you mean? I ask because I don't understand what you mean. P.s. I think this should have been posted in the gain muscle section.

Greetings, I don't know how much muscle will be added to your body, but according to scooby, you gain an ounce of muscle per resistance exercise in that it's distributed throughout your body and not just one particular area. Regards, Merc

Good Lord. How much weight will be added to each arm in muscle? And leg? Cuz i wanna know a good weight range for my body
Depends what kind of training you do and how long you keep at it. And honestly, nobody can tell you. Try it and find out. Generally, doing bodyweight stuff will only get you up to a certain point, maybe 16 inch arms after a few years? I'm not sure. Weights are definitely better. You won't overwork yourself if you do chinups, dips and squats everyday but you might get repetitive motion injuries and if those squats are bodyweight they won't do anything for you. Do pistols or barbell squats. If you get joint pain or signs of overwork, start taking an off day every 2-3 days.

Yes you can gain muscle by working out at home. How many years do you plan to lift, regardless of where you do it? Are you also willing to eat properly during that time? Just asking because despite the TV commercials, there's no system out there which will get your SWOLE in a few weeks or months.
Work out 2-3 days a week, and follow a progrma that will meet the goals you want-do you want to be able to do say 50 pullups and 100 pushups, or do you want to do a couple pullups with 50% of your body weight added to a belt for example? Look up stuff like pavel's fighter pullup program, you can follow that for dips as well, but I would not do it 5 days straight, as i found that led to elbow tendonitis. Follow the progression but do it every other day or 3 times a week, and that should allow proper recovery.
