Martial arts Vs. the fitness centre

Hey guys!
I'm working out every second day and I'm up to do material arts classes!
- Well, my question is if it's possible for me to workout as usual and as regular as I do - even though I'm taking material arts classes?
- My intension is not to workout the same days!
- Would it effect my rest?
- Can I do both without getting overtrained??

What kind of martial art are we talking about here?
I have been boxing and training various forms of martial arts while lifting and it worked well for me.
The only precaution I would advise you to take would be to make sure that you don't train a muscle that you have injured in any way.
