Hey guys!

I'm working out every second day and I'm up to do material arts classes!

- Well, my question is if it's possible for me to workout as usual and as regular as I do - even though I'm taking material arts classes?

- My intension is not to workout the same days!

- Would it effect my rest?

- Can I do both without getting overtrained??

//Daniel

What kind of martial art are we talking about here?

I have been boxing and training various forms of martial arts while lifting and it worked well for me.

The only precaution I would advise you to take would be to make sure that you don't train a muscle that you have injured in any way.

This has been discussed many times, for instance here: http://www.askscooby.com/team-and-individual-sports/karate-and-weights-overtraining/

And yes it is possible, but need to find a balance. Read the other posts regarding this and post further questions here(also, use the search function Wink)
