Hey Guys. What muscles are mostly used when you box somebody out in basketball?

mostly quads, you want to get lower than the other guy so your leverage is better.
kinda like wall sits.

Will keep that in mind. I need to get a better and stronger stance.

Yeah sorry I'm not 100% sure... I'm guessing a stronger stance would be composed of strong legs in general (calves + quads) and a strong core Smiley

Your whole body is pretty important for a box out. Squats will probably be the most helpful, but presses are pretty important too... can't be weak in the upper body as you need to initiate the contact there. Power Cleans would be great too, so that you're nice and ready to explode out of the stance for the rebound.

I'll take this into consideration Smiley I ought to do stronglifts or starting strength.
