How would you even work up to being able to do this kind of stuff? I would love to be able to do this stuff. I just tried doing some of the stuff this guy did, but felt dumb for even attempting, not even close hahahaha

Next to my house is a park with mokey bars and stuff. The guys that workout there are got awesome bodies, better than the ones of the people in the gym where i workout. I like lifting weights but maybe BW is the way to go (at least for upper body)

If you really do want to workup to that kind of stuff you can learn how. Seems like magic sometimes, but it's as scientific and understandable as normal weight training. Much more to do with "skill" than strength however. But some serious skill. Pretty sure you can learn most all of it over at gymnastic bodies or some such site. Just have to be born with the potential and not destroy your body along the way

Sure, a fast muscle-up doesn't require that much strength, it relies on coordination and technique a lot, but the way he does them...and I know he could do it extra slow if he chose to...planche dips require a ton of strength...Even front lever, I tell you, you won't be able to do it without achieving rather decent strength levels.

Tell me the difference between skill and strength.
Hitting a baseball & a bench press. Skill and strength are elements of both, but the demands in terms of movement, prediction, the number of variables, etc. the "home run" is a more skill dominant task. Both of them absolutely demand skill, and strength is a skill, I know. Muscular capacity without neural "skill" gets you nil to put a rhyme to it. If you really do want to workup to that kind of stuff you can learn how. Seems like magic sometimes, but it's as scientific and understandable as normal weight training. Pretty much just the same thing I said. I was saying skill is so critical because it's very technique and practice dominated. Muscular capacity is nothing compared to the technique demands. This is no form discounts the degree of strength acquired through skill focused work which can be enormous. I've heard anecdotes of gymnasts who'd never done weighted pull-ups breaking the dip belt due to the added weight when tested for the first time. If you were referring to my "born with the potential" statement..lots of gymnasts get spinal stress fractures, the guys and girls who make it to the olympics obviously aren't them. Gymnasts aren't 6'4" tall, it just doesn't work. Incredible bodyweight feats I imagine can be performed by someone my height, but the best possible will be built the best possible. The most critical point on potential though I believe would just be the quality of your passive restraints.
