So I assume something like this: How to do Fingertip Pushupsis wrong? Does anyone have training on how to do the correct ones? It seems either I really can't do them, or my form sucks. Yes, that is wrong. Don't bend your fingers, the nail needs to be pointing downwards not across, or you will damage your fingers.

I am going to see if I can get how I do them filmed later tonight, when I get to work. The guy in the vid uses a very wrong form, technically 2 ways to do them correctly( Straight or tiger claw variant, tiger being more advanced and harder to pull off), but nails always, as funnisam says, pointing downwards.

Me too. I just noticed I've been doing the fingertip push-ups wrong all the way lol but not sure if I can even do them any different way.

People tend to do a cross between palm/finger pushups when they do them, as they hurt less and feels more balanced. Problem is you are forcing fingers into the max range of motion, then put your weight on top of that. Plus, like with palm pushups, it affects your wrists negatively aswell. So, going to try put a vid together tonight. I am working tonight after all, might aswell try to do something constructive besides playing world of tanks

Going to work tonight, and finally going to get around to finishing it Yes Hamid, he wants to start judo(and I only have one son ), my daughter however wants to try what she calls "punch and kick"(she kicks the bag etc with me ). And yes, probably going to learn them, even if I would prefer to have them enrolled in a real class.
