I'm trying to lose 35 pounds by November or early 2011 and I want to know how many calories should I eat daily to achieve this goal? I have already lost 65 pounds and I just want to lose the last 35, I hope someone can help me figure out how many calories to eat a day. I'm 5'6 156-160 and I workout 6 days a week doing P90x. I want to weigh 118-140 so I just want to lose 35 pounds, if anyone knows anything that will help I will be more then happy to listen. Thank You.

This site   ---> Calories Needed Calculator will help you figure out how many calories you need; the paragraph at the bottom gives recommended calorie deficits to lose weight.

Keep in mind that the numbers are approximations, and you might have to experiment a little to see what works best for you. You shouldn't try to lose more than 2 pounds a week, to ensure that you're still getting all the nutrients you need.

This site   ---> Nutrition Data and Calories can give you an idea of how many calories are in different foods. Also be sure to check the nutritional labels on foods, that will tell you the number of calories per serving. Note the serving size--many foods have "2.5" or "3.5" servings in one box/can, but the calories are for only one serving, not for the whole package!

Great progress so far! Keep up the good work! If you're having trouble losing the last bit of weight, adding cardio into your exercise program can help, if you're not already doing it. 30 minutes a day is recommended.

Great calculator, Goldie. It actually seems reliable, and lucky for me I only consume 54 calories less than I should. Grin

Wow, after putting my stats I've realized that I'm way under for calories. Thanks Goldie.

The Calorie calculator allows you to calculate how many calories you require daily, in order to lose a certain amount of weight within a certain time period.

The calorie calculator is very useful for weight management as it displays how much calories are required over the specified period of time. It keeps track of your weight loss and calories required. The less you weigh, the fewer calories you will need to take in for weight loss to continue.
