Hi,

I finally managed to convince my sister to eat well and to be active. I made her a nutrition plan, and she already lost 12 pounds! I'm really proud of her.

But now, these times, she seems to have difficulty to continue. She finds it hard, even though she's never hungry, and seems to like what she eats. The problem is, people don't cease to propose her chocolate and stuff like that.

I'm really affraid she will give up some day. What could I tell her, or what could I do to keep her going? What do womens want to hear the most when they're trying to lose weight? I really care about her and I want her to feel pretty!

What can I do?

Eating clean requires a big determination and as long as she doesn't desire so, it's not surprising she is losing interests.

How has she changed except her weight since she started diet?  Has she gained confidence in her style? Has her performance in daily activity improved?

Actually, eating clean doesn't only result in weight loss but rather improvement in everyday life. School performance, work performance, hobby performance, confidence in self control.

If you have noticed any change in her because of eating clean, please tell her about it and stick to it.

I can wake up early and go for a morning walk, not because I can stay fit but I like the feeling of controlling myself.

She has to find the reason to stay fit and healthy.  Maybe you can show her your own example. This cannot be communicated by words, but please try!

Great thing you're a good influence on her, but like omatsu said, it takes determination. The only one that can give that to your sister is herself.

That being said, you can help a bit by asking the people that give her fat foods to support her by not doing that, although sometimes we have that jerk friend.

If she gets interested in a sport, then she's golden. Most of us like running and biking, so, go to competitions just to run the distance, enter marathons, triathlons, the ironman dude, that's my dream for next year (this is what I mean, you find a goal then you work for the goal, not for the body).
