Men can get big, but it takes time & dedication. Women build muscle slower, so it just takes more time & dedication. Sure they won't get as big, but a woman with good genes for building muscle will get bigger faster than a guy with bad genes for building muscle.

It takes testosterone to build large muscles, and women have a fraction of the amount of testosterone that men do. Women
can
build muscle and get strong, but there's no danger they'll look like the female bodybuilding competitors (who
do
take testosterone + other unnecessary steroids/drugs.)
