A very skinny friend of mine asked me how could she gain weight eating healthy.

I think lot's of complex carbs would do it, but, is there any kind of special nutrition she should have?

I told her she should ask a nutritionist, but she said she only wanted tips, not an appointment,

You can gain weight by eating anything, if it goes over TDEE. Calories in vs. Calories Burned. So yes, you can gain weight by eating helthy, though it requires a bit of effort if done with healthy foods as they tend to be more satiating, with the exception of nuts. Nuts and whole milk, yeppir.
