Hi there,
I just thought I'd introduce myself!
I'm 42 year old mum 5 kids.We have just moved to France so my kids can learn a second language. My husband lives and works in Ireland in order to support us for our stay here.!
I found this site and I am really impressed with the support, help and knowledge that people provide and I'm hoping they can help me.
I have always been fit,and up untill two years ago when I became injured I had completed lots of half marathons and marathons, but here's the thing even with all the miles in my legs I was still skinny fat due to the wrong diet and no resistance training.I'm 5'2 and weigh 128 pounds.I would really love to be 120 pound( or less) as I'm quite small framed.I have been trying to lose this miserable 8 pounds for ten years.....honestly,don't laugh!
I only lost weight when I was sick but quickly put it on again. My injury is gone,I want to get fit and strong and I want that fat gone.....and I need your help!
All advise and support welcome.I'm going to do a journal and I hope you guys will give me some pointers and achieve what I have been trying to do for the last 10 years
Thanks

    Hello Meave!

I'm 5.2ft too, 159cm! I used to be 63kg/133lbs but now am 50kg/110lbs with Scooby's beginner program. And did it in only 4 months...

    http://scoobysworkshop.com/weight-loss-success-stories/yoko/

And I've been keeping 4 pack abs and am 46y/o. So you can do it too!

Most important thing is nutrition. Don't go diet. Please understand your daily calorie budget and eat accordingly. And split it into 6 small meals and eat every 3 hours.

Lot of people try to lose weight by creating calorie deficit. But in the first phase, we need to eat according to correct calorie, not any less.

You can easily calculate your daily calorie budget with Scooby's Calculator.

    http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/

And Scooby's beginner workout plan is here, http://scoobysworkshop.com/beginning-workout-plan/

If you're interested, I always post my daily workout and some of meals I eat at tumbler.

You're almost same height, so if you eat like I do, maybe you can reach your goal easily.

I eat 6-9 meals a day, one meal 150-400kcal(300kcal), total 2300kcal. When I don't have time, I just drink whey protein shake which has 150kcal. And I try to shoot my nutrient macro, carb 50%, fat 20%, protein 30%.

I jog 1hour in the morning, and do light 30min strength workout in the evening.

Please feel free to post your question here, or reach me if you need me Smiley

Welcome and let's keep our abs tight!!!
