Roughly it took 6 months for me to do unassisted pullups and took 10 months to perform it 6-8 times.
It's hard but I can do it now.

How long did take for you???

I decided to do try old nemesis from 2nd grade the pullup last year for the first time in 10 years, and to my surprise did it 5 times. I had done some lightweight 50lb rows for 2 months before hand though.

Are you a woman or man? I'm asking my question in Women's forum and I'd like to hear from women.

Haha my bad, I didn't look to see where this was at, in my experience usually it takes my friends a few months.

    Congrats...

I do strenght training for 8 years and can not manage a single one. I can nearly deadlift my own body weight (which is a lot) and can do barbell-row with 30 kg/ about 65lbs 10 times. But no pull-up. Bugs me.

I started P90 with my husband on Jan. 3rd and completed it. We are now getting ready to start our 5th week of the Master Series. I could do ONE when I started and now can do 7 or 8. Smiley

    Hi,
I introduced my GF to the pullup bar recently. The first day she couldn´t do nothing at all. In a month or less she managed to do 7 pullups with the feet on a chair. I don´t know if this exercise is easier for men, but I hope she can soon do at least one unassisted pullup, because it feels very good to be able to do that.  Smiley
