Is your partner interested in doing fitness YouTube Vids Scooby?
That's probably how MOST guys found the site in the first place. By being inspired by your vids. I was.

Good idea, but no Smiley You know me, other than Milo, I keep my family out of my fitness passions. I do have a similar idea though which I could implement in December.

There should be an entire section on scoobysworkshop.com that addresses women's concerns about fitness. Women are mostly interested in eating healthy so i guess the primary focus of that page should be nutrition. You could also throw in a few sample workouts.

A lot of people watch scooby's youtube videos so I guess you could put up a few videos on youtube too.

One thing I liked about this site was the success stories, they gave me motivaton and it shows anyone can get fit no matter how old they are or what gender they are. Think I only saw one that was a girl out of all the guys

That was kinda the plan I was hinting at above.  Alyssa who is one of this years success stories winners was going to be my springboard into this.  I'm hoping I can lasso her into helping me with a womens page for my website, she doesnt know this yet Smiley

It seems to me that women don't come to the forum because they don't watch your videos at all, which is where the main influx of people come from. This is probably because you don't focus on topics that may interest women the most, besides weight loss, and also because you're a half-naked man with a hat talking about fitness (it's kind of weird, if you think about it). I say you should try addressing some issues that may interest them (you could also wear a wig and hide those little brothers you have for biceps) to see if that fixes it. If not, get a (fit) woman to make some videos for your account.

I've changed a lot thanks to your videos scoob, I'm a success story but I still want to go further so I can you know, make you guys proud (Until I'm ripped), but, all my female friends that have asked me, I start telling them and I always hear the same response: I don't want to go hardcore, just want to get toned abs, work my legs and maybe my arms.

So, why not focus on a program for the ladies and have regular updates to it. Little to no weight, to gain what they want to, know the proper form of doing the workouts. Just like your bodybuilder programs are mainly focused on guys, the ladies (in general), hate doing pull ups and push ups, so they refuse to work those muscles. Why not a program that works what they want (and a bit more because proportional is better), and the proper nutrition to stick to it?

    My 2 cents.

Many women still think that weight training will make them huge, hence the enduring popularity of those tiny pink weights.

Perhaps you could have a section on the Scoobysworkshop site explaining that a) this isn't the case (and why) and b) that the video archive is just as useful to women who just want to get a bit leaner and stronger as it is to men who want to bulk up.

Perhaps you could do some female-orientated videos....weight training and osteoporosis, for example.

As for a female equivalent of Scooby to make videos...omatsu123?

Or Scooby in a wig perhaps? Smiley
