When I squat heavy, I rest about 2-2.5 minutes between sets. When I squat lighter, around a minute.

    Don't bother showing it to her if she doesn't want to look like that. My experience is just that many women want to get a bigger ass (among other things), and just telling them to squat to achieve that goal isn't always enough to get them squatting. I find it has helped showing her a picture of a women with an ass they would like, and then tell her that she is a squatter. It also helps showing them a pictures like the one above so they understand that they won't become extremely bulky.

    Do squats really give women bigger ass? It's more of genetic things like Caucasion or Afro American have bigger asses but they tend to be fatter than Asians. Squats maybe good, but it is really difficult exercise and beginners should stick to basic workouts Scooby recommends.

    If you have been lifting more than 1 year, I wouldn't stop you. But if you have just started, I'd suggest you to stick to everyday cardio and beginner workout program.

    Usually big asses are associated with more fat. Powerlifters do have big asses, for sure.

    I would rather advice you to do jump rope for 10 min per day for stronger legs and slimmer waist so that your ass will look fabulous.

    I guess my ass is smaller and my abs do look less attractive. But these are result of natural workouts, for your reference.

    I think it depends on the person.

    My butt gets bigger when I work it out. Yet I have a friend who does every possible butt exercise and still has a totally flat behind. We are the same age and both caucasian.

    Squats won't necessarily give a woman Vida Guerra's butt, yet it will not leave anyone flat-reared. But you have to eat for that. Doing squats and feeding on salads won't build anything on a man, let alone women.
