the prob was that Omatsu did not like sprites response, the OP being smarter analyse things for herself, kudos to her. Omatsy spat the dummy cause she could not understand why..shame really. just lack of experience

After the weekend and feasting on the christmas market, I come here and I'm a little shocked. What happened here?

I didn't want to make some one feeling bad or leave the forum. I'm so sorry.

Anyway, I whish to say, I learned something here, gut new input, new ideas. For myself I didn't feel anything rude from the guys. I SAW good intentions in every post.

I would like to respond to some thoughts:

My plan is now to give that 5x5-thing a second try, in that version I postet earlier. Cause I like fill body workouts and I like more compound than isolation and also like full ROM. I will only add some small isos to this plan that are important for my health. Will check this with the coach from the gym tomorrow and will work it out the next 2 weeks or so.

I'm not totally in for power lifting, but I realised, I want strength in the first place, to have a fundament for the other sports I'm doing. That was my intenstion to go to the gym and that's basically still the case. So strength and muscular endurance is more important for me than mass. Although it's clear a a gain in strength and endurance needs more mass. Also I want a little less fat on my body to make the proportion between bodyweight and strenth better, which is quintessential what I need and what i consider "fitness".

As for that power lifting champion, as I said, the problem is, we don't speak a common language, not a single word. What I learned from him about technic, was, he moving my limps and torso in the rignt position or commenting with thumbs up/thumps down.  Cheesy So there is not much more potential to learn from him. Plus lifting is just a tool for me (but a nice one), not the goal itself.

As for the guy-girls-thing: I realized the guys who really lift heavy, who are older and look like they lift for many years seem to have no problem with a woman like me between the barbells. I can smalltalk to them, that's okay. The guys who take offense are different guys....

Well okay.. again.. thank you.. I learned something from this thread as well as from other threads here. I appriate comments that are meant to be helpful.

one thing you should take from this is a woman hitting a plateau isn't so far different from a man hitting a plateau and they can be broken in the same way. Wink this post got a bit to....errr.. more than I want to be part of. it happens. don't worry forget it and move on. Tongue
