I wrote a short memo about measuring women's body fat.
    http://www.askscooby.com/womens-fitness/skinfold-caliper-measurement-for-women/

But Zuzana has easier calculation method which only uses 3 sites that are easier to measure alone.
    http://www.bodyrock.tv/2009/02/13/how-to-measure-and-calculate-your-body-fat-percentage/

    1. Pectoral
    2. Abdominal
    3. Thigh

But she doesn't mention which caliper method she is using.

Anyone knows what method or whose method this is Huh?

If this is a valid method and has some proving articles, I'm thinking to create a web page that does calculation.

    Thanks!

I did some research by myself and her equation is based on Jackson & Pollock.

Scooby also uses theirs too. However, Zuzana modified tricep to pec for female calculation. I asked if she has any scientific validation for this change on her site and FB, but without reply, she has deleted my question.

So please do not use her equation for female bodyfat. I'm not surprised about this... But if anyone knows any scientifically valid reason for changing tricep to pec, please let me know.

This site has correct Jackson Pollock 3 caliper method. For men, please refer Scooby's page.

Scooby recommends the method of mid thigh, ab near belly button, and mid pec. It's a standard 3 point method and works well if you're under 15% BF, can be trickier at higher levels when the belly roll is thicker and your measurements can be inaccurate. I expect the fat variation between pec and tricep is much different on women, makes it annoying to measure solo.  Undecided

Most questions you have about building muscle is answered in this article.

Getting big, strong muscles and losing fat is simple but it's not easy! To accomplish anything worthwhile in life, you need a firmly fixed goal; willpower; a high tolerance for pain.

Yeah. It is indeed annoying. I do measure to see if I'm making a progress but tricep measurement is sooo difficult. I've come to prefer just checking the weight scale and mirror, LOL!
